TÜRKSOY painting exhibit goes to Belgium

A painting exhibition organized by the International Turkish Culture Organization (TÜRKSOY) and dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will open in Brussels on Nov. 29. It is organized in collaboration with TÜRKSOY and the Yunus Emre Culture Center.

According to a statement made by TÜRKSOY, the exhibition will feature works by artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Turkish Cyprus, Altai Republic, Khakas Republic, Tatartstan, Gagauz and Moldavia.

The exhibition aims to promote Turkic art of painting and previously opened in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Lithuania and Italy.

The opening of the exhibition will be made at the Avenue des Arts with performances by the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Directorate artists Naile Ahmedova and Ünüşan Kuloğlu on Nov. 29. It will remain open in the city until Dec. 12
