Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay a four-day visit to the United States starting on Sept. 20.
He will attend the 81st United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week in New York.
Erdoğan will address the General Assembly during the high-level debate.
His speech will likely focus on regional crises, international security and global justice.
The Turkish leader frequently uses the U.N. podium to advocate for comprehensive U.N. Security Council reform.
He traditionally emphasizes his motto "The world is bigger than five" to highlight the need for a more inclusive system.
Erdoğan will also address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and urge the international community to take action.
The president plans to hold bilateral meetings with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and various heads of state.
He will conduct many of these diplomatic engagements at the Turkish House (Türkevi) in Manhattan.
Erdoğan will also meet with U.S. business leaders and representatives of the Turkish-American community during his stay.
