Turkish nationalist leader undergoes eye surgery

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli underwent a successful eye operation July 24, Cihan news agency has reported.

Bahçeli had a cataract surgery in both his eyes which lasted forty minutes.

Bahçeli’s condition was described as “well” and he has resumed working following the surgery.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a phone call to Bahçeli wishing him to get well soon.
