Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay an official visit to Jordan on Feb. 18 and 19, upon the invitation of his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

A statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry released on Feb. 18 said Cavuşoğlu and Safadi will discuss “all aspects of bilateral relations” and exchange views on regional developments, particularly Syria and Palestine.

Çavuşoğlu is also expected to be received in Amman by Jordanian King Abdullah II.
