Turkish, Algerian presidents discuss regional developments
ANKARA
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on May 28 to discuss bilateral ties and regional and global developments, the Turkish Communications Directorate said.
In a statement on Turkish social media platform NSosyal, the directorate said the two leaders reviewed cooperation between Türkiye and Algeria in several areas, including trade, energy and the defense industry.
Erdoğan said Türkiye wanted to deepen cooperation with Algeria in all fields and would continue efforts to support peace and stability in the region and beyond.
He also extended Eid al-Adha greetings to Tebboune and the Algerian people.
