Turkey’s Mardin city hosts the shooting of a Bollywood movie

Turkey’s southeastern province of Mardin is hosting the shooting of “Ek Tha Tiger,” a Bollywood movie.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are starring in the movie, which will be shot on location in four countries. Some scenes of the movie are being shot in Mardin as well as Istanbul and Antalya.

The movie will be released in 25 countries on the same date. The director of the movie, Kabir Khan, said he admired the historical structure of Mardin and thanked people in the city for the hospitality they showed to them.

“Ek Tha Tiger” tells a love story between an Indian and a Pakistani spy, and it will be on screens in June 2012. Bollywood, an informal term used for the Indian-language film industry, is the largest film producer in India and one of the largest centers of film production in the world
