Turkey’s judicial board reshuffles 3,320 judges and prosecutors

ANKARA

The Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has reshuffled the districts of 3,320 judges and prosecutors, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency reported on July 26.

Reassignments were announced by the HSK’s First Chamber, which completed its primary decrees for the new judicial year.

Some 3,019 judge and prosecutors have been reassigned in judicial courts, while 301 others were reshuffled in administrative courts.

Chief prosecutors of several cities, including İzmir, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Konya, Gaziantep, Erzurum and Şanlıurfa, have been replaced.
