Trabzonspor hosts Beşiktaş in the big game of the weekend as the Spor Toto Super League returns from a mid-season break.

The game on Jan. 25 brings together two sides that have failed to play up to the expectations in the first part of the season.

Trabzonspor is seventh with 27 points, 14 behind leader Fenerbahçe, while Beşiktaş sits fourth with 29 points. The game at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium starts at 7 p.m.

Earlier, Bursaspor hosts Eskişehirspor again, only three days after beating its rival 4-1 in the Turkish Cup, and Gençlerbirliği meets Çaykur Rizespor.

On Jan. 26, Galatasaray visits Gaziantepspor, whose late surge helped the team jump out of the relegation zone.

The two-time defending champion is second and trailing leader Fener from an eight-point distance, but has a chance to apply pressure on the top with its rival not playing until Jan. 27.
Gaziantepspor recorded four wins and one draw with Sergen Yalçın at the helm, and was given a further boost when the former Turkish star decided to remain at the post, following reports of his mid-season departure.

Also on Jan. 26, it is Sivasspor vs. Kayserispor, Sanica Boru Elazığspor vs. Akhisar and Kayseri Erciyesspor vs. Medical Park Antalyaspor.
