Tour bus with passengers on board catches on fire in Ayvalık in Turkey’s west

A bus with 35 passengers on board caught on fire while on the road late at night on April 12 in the district of Ayvalık on Turkey’s western coast.

All passengers were removed from the bus when the driver noticed the flames coming out of the engine and pulled over.

The Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality’s local fire authorities fought the flames with one water tank and three sprinklers but the bus was wrecked before the fire could be contained.
