Top Russian model promotes her bra book

World renowned top Russian model Irina Shayk arrived in Istanbul on April 17, to kick off the international promotion of her book “The Perfect Bra Book.” Shayk, who is the former partner of Real Madrid’s Ronaldo, arrived in the city from New York. She did not reply to press members’ questions.

Shayk came together yesterday with fans in a Nişantaşı store and gave tips to Turkish women to find the perfect bra.

She left the country shortly after the event, and will visit Madrid, Lisbon, Moscow and London as part of her promotional campaign.

Shayk started her career at the age of 19 when she began modeling in Paris. In 2007 she replaced Ana Beatriz Barros as the face of Intimissimi and in the same year she debuted in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Since that time, she has appeared in every annual edition, attending photo shoots in places as diverse as St. Petersburg, Naples, Grenada and Chile. After being the image of Intimissimi for three years, Shayk was made the official ambassador for the brand in 2010.
