Ten cars set alight in Istanbul suburb overnight

Ten cars were set on fire in Istanbul’s Başakşehir district on Nov. 8 by unknown attackers.

All of the cars were severely damaged after they were set alight on the European side district.

The incident took place in the Şahintepe neighborhood of Başakşehir at around 3 a.m. The attackers threw petrol on the cars before setting them alight, and some locals have criticized the fire service for arriving late at the scene.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
