Six killed in southeastern Turkey as service bus overturns

At least six people have been killed and 11 others injured when a service bus overturned in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.

The minibus that was carrying workers to a textile factory drove off the highway early in the morning after the driver lost control of the steering, according to Doğan News Agency.

The loss of control was reportedly caused by the blow-out of the front tire.

Two of the dead workers were reported to be Syrians, while another two workers who died in the accident have yet to be identified.

The injured workers have been brought to hospitals for treatment.
