Rock band to play in southeastern province

Gripin’s members started their career together in 1999.

Turkish rock band “Gripin” will take the stage tonight in the southeastern province of Gaziantep. The concert takes place at Kalender Plaza. Gripin’s members started their career together in 1999 playing mostly cover music at rock bars with a repertoire including varying genres like Britpop and American Alternative rock. They had a considerable fan base before they released their first album. In early 2000s they started recording their own songs and released debut album “Hikayeler Anlatıldı” (Stories are told) in 2004, which was later released as a double album containing the acoustic versions of the album’s songs. The next album was released in 2007. The album features duets with popular Turkish artists like Ferman Akgül from maNga, Pamela Spence and Emre Aydın. The band released their last album “M.S. 05.03.2010” in 2010 and they continue their energetic live performances.
