Leader Galatasaray visits Orduspor as the 16th match day of the Spor Toto Super League starts tonight.
The Lions aim to main their red-hot streak, which was capped by two victories over their fierce rivals.

Galatasaray beat Fenerbahçe 3-1 on Dec. 7 and Trabzonspor 3-0 on Dec. 11 to claim two big victories in only four days’ time, taking over the league lead.

Orduspor, on the other hand, is passing through turbulent times. Coach Metin Diyadin, the man who led the team to its promotion from the Bank Asya League One earlier this year, resigned from his post after the Black Sea team lost five matches in a row.

Chairman Nedim Türkmen claimed that he is on the verge of signing a world-class replacement.
“We had Hector Cuper, Lothar Matthaeus and Saffet Susic in our shortlist but Cuper seems to top that list,” Türkmen said to NTV Spor news channel. “We have made him an offer. We sent him the list of our squad and we have almost reached a deal in financial issues. We wait him to come to Ordu soon.”
Tonight’s game in Ordu kicks off at 8 p.m.
