Ralph Towner to perform at CRR Concert Hall

Best known as the lead composer, guitarist, and keyboardist for acoustic jazz ensemble “Oregon,” Ralph Towner will hit the stage in Istanbul tonight. The show starts at 8 p.m. at CRR Concert Hall, and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Since his days with Oregon, Towner has had a rich and varied solo career that has included collaboration with leading musicians such as Gary Burton, John Abercrombie, Egberto Gismonti, Larry Coryell, Keith Jarrett, Jan Garbarek and Gary Peacock. Towner was born in 1940 into a musical family, as his mother was a piano teacher and his father was a trumpet player.
