Poland’s new queen to be selected in Aegean province in October

The Aegean province of Muğla’s Marmaris town will host the 2013 Polish Beauty Contest, which will contribute to the presentation of the country and the region, according to Turkish officials. A press conference was held to launch the “Queen of Poland,” which will be organized on Oct. 12 in the Amphitheatre of Marmaris.

Andress Cichocki, the owner of the organization company Maxima Models and Miss Polish Angelika Staros attended the press conference along with the officials of a Turkish travel company.

The contest was previously organized in different countries such as Dubai, the Canary Islands, Mallorca and Israel. The semi final of the contest will be held on Sept. 14 in Polish capital Warsaw and 20 beauty contestants will be selected for the final in Marmaris.

At the press conference, Cichocki described Marmaris as “the most beautiful place in the world.”
