Osman becomes first Turk to be named in British squad

Turkish Cypriot Leon Osman became the first Turk to be named in Britain's national football team.
 
Osman has been playing for Everton since 2004 and was recently named one of Britain's 23 players to hit the field.
 
His previous teams were Carlisle United and Derby Country.
 
Osman's family consists of his Turkish Cypriot father and British mother.
