New heads for BDDK, TMSF

Mukim Öztekin has been appointed the new head of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) and Şakir Ercan Gül has been reappointed the president of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) according to an announcement in the Official Gazette June 22. Öztekin has previously held leadership positions at Asya Finans and Ziraat Finansal Kiralama. Gül had been appointed TMSF president in 2010, but his term came to an end in February.
