Man detained after attempting to protest Turkish PM at Parliament

ANKARA
A man has been detained after attempting to protest Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his speech at the weekly group meeting at Parliament.

The man, who was standing on the balcony in the meeting room, started shouting after Erdoğan finished his speech. Security officers immediately intervened, covering his mouth and forcibly removing him from the room. He was then taken into police detention.
