Luxurious yachts show off in Turkey’s Marmaris

Luxurious yachts with price tags ranging from 5 million euros to 56 million euros are being displayed at the “Marmaris Yacht Charter Show” in the resort town in the Aegean province of Muğla.Experts said the weekly rentals of the boats varied from 15,000 to 450,000 euros.
İskender Akbaş, head of the Marmaris International Yacht Club, told Anadolu Agency the Yacht Charter Show was held in only four countries across the world.
Akbaş said their aim was to gather buyers and agencies and give a hand to the tourism sector.
Marmaris is hosting the event for the 35th time.
A total of 40 yachts have been displayed at the venue, where some 65 foreign agencies were represented.
Locals and tourists have flocked to the Marmaris port to see the boats, where employees briefed attendees.
The event will end with a gala dinner on May 15.
