Liverpool to sign Nuri Şahin on loan deal

Liverpool is set to sign Turkish midfielder Nuri Şahin on a loan deal from Real Madrid.

The Daily Mirror of England reported that Liverpool was close to finalizing a move that will send the 23-year-old to Anfield Road, with the possible addition of a buying option at the end of the season.
Spain’s AS also reported that Şahin agreed to move to Liverpool.

He spent an injury-plagued season in his first year at Real Madrid after being signed from Dortmund.
The player, who was born in Germany, has been a constant target for Turkish clubs as well.
