Galatasaray hopes to translate its European form onto the domestic stage when the defending champion meets Kayserispor in the Spor Toto Super League today.

The Lions beat Schalke 3-2 on March 12 to advance to the Champions League quarterfinals, but now return to the league.

After two matches without a win, Galatasaray’s point advantage decreased to four over Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.

After a poor start to the season, Kayserispor saw a recent boom in form under new coach Robert Prosinecki, who followed Shota Arveladze. The Central Anatolian team is on a league best seven-match unbeaten run.

Earlier on March 17, Fenerbahçe will visit Antalyaspor.

The Yellow Canaries also had a successful midweek, knocking the Viktoria Plzen out of the Europa League for a quarterfinal spot. Antalyaspor has climbed as high as the second spot earlier this season but had a poor run recently.

In two relegation-zone battles, Orduspor will host Gaziantepspor and Akhisar will meet Sivasspor, also on March 17.

Beşiktaş hosts fourth-place Kasımpaşa in the highlight match of March 16. Earlier, Istanbul BB will meet bottom-team Mersin İdman Yurdu and Gençlerbirliği takes on Karabükspor.
