Public Prosecutors have sent the summary of proceedings against four former ministers implicated in a graft probe to the Turkish Parliament.

The legal proceedings were initially sent to the Justice Ministry, but the ministry sent them back due to using an incorrect procedure, saying they should be directly sent to Parliament.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor from Istanbul Public Prosecutors’ Office Ali Cengiz Hacıosmanoğlu sent the legal proceedings to Parliament after reviewing the documents.

The summary of proceedings has been drafted for former EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış, former Interior Minister Muammer Güler, former Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan and former Environment and Urban Planning Minister Erdoğan Bayraktar as part of a massive corruption probe launched Dec. 17. They were all subject to the summaries of proceedings due to corruption and bribery allegations.
