Joy of cinema for just 4 TL

The Tarık Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district invites audiences to see a selection of films for only 4 Turkish Liras throughout March.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Kültür A.Ş. will present a selection of 12 films at the center this month. The event will begin on March 7 with world-renowned Danish director Lars von Trier’s “Europe.”
It will host Claude Berri’s “Germinal” on March 8 and 9; Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jaunet’s “The City of Lost Children” on March 10 and 11; Bille August’s “Les Miserables” on March 13 and 14; Christopher Nolan’s “Memento” on March 15 and 16; Chan-Wook Park’s “Old Boy” on March 17 and 18; Denys Arcand’s “The Barbarian Invasions” on March 20 and 21 and “Days of Darkness” on March 22 and 23; Walter Salles’ “Motorcycle Diaries” on March 24 and 25; Miguel Courtois’ “Wolf” on March 27 and 28; Costa Gavras’ “The Axe” on March 29 and 30; and Dennis Gansel’s “The Wave” on March 31 and April 1.
