The Istanbul Recitals will open the 2016-2017 season on Oct. 15 at the Seed venue at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum. The recitals, which will continue for nine months with an extraordinary virtuoso presented every month, will open with the world famous French pianist Jean Efflam Bavouzet.

Russia-born American pianist Natasha Paremski will be the next guest of the event. Winner of the 2006 Gilmore Young Artist Award, virtuoso pianist Paremski, described by BBC Music Magazine as having “flawless technique and unstoppable energy,” will take the stage at the Seed on Nov. 19.

The final recital of the year will be given by Irish virtuoso John O’Conor, a co-founder of the Dublin International Piano Competition of which he is Artistic Director and Chairman of the Jury. His concert will be on Dec. 16.
