IMA to meet fans at İşSanat
After her 2007 record “Smile” went gold, IMA acquired a considerable fan base during her 50-concert tour in 2003, becoming one of the most-loved female singers of Canada with her distinctive style fusing pop, rock and folk. As the pride of Québec, she has been praised for her performance at Montreal’s famous Theatre St-Denis as well as a show in the opening concert of the Francofolies de Montreal Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2008.
IMA describes her new album “a la Vida!” as an album that celebrates life and love as well as one that reflects her interest in the music of different cultures and languages. Consisting of 13 songs recorded with a variety of celebrated artists, the mostly French album is filled with happy love songs.
