Hyphologie exhibition gathers Turkish, French artists

Santorium is bringing together Turkish and French artists to showcase their views on contemporary social and artistic topics with its latest show, “Hyphologie.”

The artists participating in the exhibition, jointly carried out in both countries, pose the difficult question of society’s confrontation with a “cold” world: a disenchanted world with disembodied signs, dematerialized images and dissocialized policies.

Under the projection of the artists in the exhibition, the environment of signs and objects takes the form of an auscultation of the reality of the situation at the beginning of the new millennium. The industrial aspect of the artists’ language is totally connected with a trans-border art belonging to the era of cognitive capitalism. Visitors can ponder questions about the nature of knowledge at a time of the complete absorption of creative processes by an industrial and post-industrial system.

The artists participating in the event include Kerem Ozan Bayraktar, Ludovic Bernhardt, Erdem Ergaz, Can Ertaş, Yağız Özgen, Stéfane Perraud, Société Réaliste and François Ronsiaux, while there will also be a multimedia performance by Dorota Kleszcz.
