Greek politicians failed to agree a government at talks today, nine days after an inconclusive election, one of the party leaders present at the latest meeting said.

Panos Kammenos, leader of a conservative party that opposes Greece's international bailout deal, emerged from the presidential mansion where the talks had been held and said that no deal had been reached.
