Fourteen-time winner Galatasaray and Sivasspor will meet again as the two teams were pitted against each other in the Ziraat Turkish Cup fourth round draws yesterday.

Spor Toto Super League leader Galatasaray continued its winning streak with a 4-0 win at Sivasspor on March 5, and the two teams will meet again later this month in a battle to make it to the quarterfinal of the domestic tournament.

Hoping to end its 29-year drought in the cup, Fenerbahçe will meet Samsunspor in the round.

Fenerbahçe has last won the title in 1983, and its 29-year disappointment is one of the most notorious droughts in Turkish football folklore.

Defending champion Beşiktaş will visit second-tier Bank Asya League One side Boluspor.

The Black Eagles won their ninth cup with a penalty shootout victory over Istanbul BB last year but promised to return the cup since its cup win was marred by match-fixing allegations. Then-coach Tayfur Havutçu and then-board member Serdal Adalı were allegedly embroiled in transfer talks with Istanbul BB’s İskender Alın and İbrahim Akın to underperform. Akın scored a goal in the game.

Elsewhere it is Çaykur Rizespor vs. Karabükspor, Bugsaşspor vs. Bursaspor, Eskişehirspor vs. Kasımpaşa, Trabzonspor vs. Antalyaspor, and Kayserispor vs. Istanbul BB.

The games will be played between March 21 and 23.
