Fire breaks out at Turkey’s highest building

A fire broke out today at Turkey’s highest building, the Sapphire, in Istanbul’s Levent business district, causing panic as smoke engulfed the building.

Firefighting teams immediately arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze while people in the building were evacuated.

The fire reportedly broke out in the chimney of one of the restaurants due to an unknown reason.
