Eurozone business activity returns to growth in July
FRANKFURT
Business activity in the eurozone returned to growth in July, a key survey showed on July 24, rising for the first time in four months.
The eurozone purchasing managers' index (PMI) published by S&P Global, an important gauge of the economy's overall health, registered a reading of 51.9 this month after a figure of 50 in June. A reading above 50 indicates growth while a figure below 50 signals contraction.
