Erdoğan, relatives take legal action against CHP head over off-shore bank allegations

ANKARA

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and members of his family have taken legal action against main opposition Repbublican People’s Party (CHP) head Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu over his recent publicizing of documents allegedly revealing multi-million-dollar off-shore bank transactions.

The lawsuit, filed on Dec. 1, demands that the CHP leader pays a total of 1.5 million Turkish Liras ($380,000) in compensation.
