Curfew to be lifted every day in Silopi in southeast Turkey

The ongoing military curfew will be lifted between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day in the Silopi district of the southeastern province of Şırnak, the Şırnak Governor’s Office announced on Jan. 18.

The Governor’s Office issued a statement saying the curfew would be lifted between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day as of Jan. 19 until further notice.

The curfew will continue to be imposed at nights between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m., the statement added.
