Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) said in a statement on March 30 that it plans to open its 10th plant in Turkey, in the southern province of Isparta, with a 110 million Turkish Lira ($30.1 million) investment.

The plant is expected to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2017, according to the statement.

The state-of-the-art production facility will have an annual capacity of 220 million liters - around 40 million unit cases - and will provide direct and indirect employment to approximately 300 people, CCI said.

The facility in Isparta will have two lines capable of producing ice tea, juice and sparkling products in can and PET packages, it added.

The company is 50.3 percent owned by Anadolu Efes, 20.1 percent by the Coca Cola Export Corp., 3.7 percent by Özgörkey Holding, and the remaining 25.9 percent publicly traded on Turkish stock exchanges, according to data from CCI’s website.
