The Culture University Choir received Intercultural Dialogue Award.

The International Choir Festival took place for the fifth time this year in Antalya, with the top awards going to a choir from Belarus and Germany.

A youth choir from Germany and Belarus’ Dabrevesk Arts and Culture Center choir shared first place in the choir contest, while the head of the latter choir, Albina Pekutska, received one of the special awards at the ceremony. The Istanbul Culture University Choir also received the Intercultural Special Dialogue Award at the event’s closing on April 6. However, no awards were handed out for the best female and male choir award after the jury said they were unable to find a suitable voice for the honor. Belarus’ Vivat Choir was second in the voice competition, while third place went to Macedonia’s Stiv Naumov Choir. The choir contest and the festival, which drew many artists from abroad, ended with a concert.
