Bus accident kills six, injures 36 in Turkey’s north

Six people were killed and another 36 were injured when a bus toppled in the northern province of Amasya on Aug. 5. 

The bus belonging to a private company heading to the Black Sea province of Samsun from Istanbul toppled in the Merzifon district.

A number of ambulances and rescue teams were sent to the scene and bus driver İhsan Güleryüz, passengers Tuğçe Duran and Murat Eyi and three others, who couldn’t be identified yet, were killed. 

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and their treatments were ongoing.
