The Borusan Quartet continues to reinforce its fame by working with the top soloists of the classical world. Their May concert will feature Valentin Erben, one of the founding members of the Alban Berg Quartet, which is hailed as one of the best chamber ensembles by critics, academics and fans. His recordings and performances with distinguished ensembles have received great critical acclaim, and tonight he will join the Borusan Quartet to perform Schubert’s beloved “String Quintet.” The concert starts at 8 p.m. at Süreyya Opera House, and tickets are available at Biletix booths.

At least 42 people died when a dam burst its banks near a town in Kenya's Rift Valley, the local governor told AFP on Monday, as heavy rains and floods battered the country.
