Berlinale hosts event by Istanbul Film Fest

The Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), threw a cocktail reception at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) on Feb. 8, at Akademie der Künste in the German capital. 

The event was held with the support of the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Turkish Cinema. It saw the announcement of the fourth edition of the Turkish-German Co-Production Development Fund within the scope of Meetings on the Bridge (MoB), which has supported 22 co-productions since its inception, and also announced the presentation of five films from Turkey at the 64th Berlinale.

Members of the press, filmmakers, producers, actors, actresses, and film professionals attended the reception, hosted by Istanbul Film Festival Director Azize Tan, Assistant Director Kerem Ayan, Meetings on the Bridge Head Gülin Üstün, and İKSV General Director Görgün Taner.
