Aydın Doğan cartoon exhibition in Adana

The cartoons that won the 32nd Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition will go on display in the southern province of Adana on Jan. 5. The exhibition at the 75’inci Yıl Art Gallery will remain open until Jan. 20. 

More than 780 artists from 66 different countries participated in the competition, in which the jury evaluated 2,289 works.

Organized by the Aydın Doğan Foundation (ADV), founded by its honorary president Aydın Doğan, the awards ceremony of the 32nd competition was held at the Trump Towers in Istanbul on Nov. 17, 2015. 

Albanian cartoonist Agim Sulaj received the grand prize for his cartoon warning that terror could hit any country and any person around the globe, while Iranian cartoonist Mohsen Nuri received the runner-up prize and another Iranian cartoonist, Jalal Pirmarzabad, finished third.
