American magazine features Tabanlıoğlu

Turkish architectural firm Tabanlıoğlu has been featured on the cover of a prominent architecture magazine.

Prominent American architecture magazine’s August issue features on its cover Turkish architecture firm Tabanlıoğlu’s, Sipopo Congress Center project in Equatorial Guinea.

Architectural Record magazine referred to the structure as the symbol of developing Africa. 

The two storey rectangular building in forest by the Atlantic Ocean has an esthetically pleasing outside surface which prevents from UV rays thanks to its half-transparent structure. The design of the outside surface also allows attaining optimum use on the indoor area. 

The building features glass wall system, so that it gates the maximum benefit of the ocean view. The design of the indoor area prioritizes consistency with the natural texture of the region the building erects on.

Architectural Record is the number one monthly American magazine dedicated to architecture and design over 110 years. While the magazine targets professional architects and engineers as its audience with news, commentary, criticism and continuing education sections, it features numerous articles exploring cutting edge designs by leading architects with photos and articles that are accessible to non-experts.
