Youssef, Şenlendirici on stage at Jazz Festival

Youssef, Şenlendirici on stage at Jazz Festival “Encounters with Masters” continues to bring together master jazz musicians for new and original performances as part of the Istanbul Jazz Festival. This year, singer and oud player Dhafer Youssef, who is now considered a pillar of the Tunisian underground music scene, comes together on stage with Turkey’s clarinet master Hüsnü Şenlendirici and world-renowned kanun player Aytaç Doğan tonight in the courtyard of the Istanbul Archaeological Museum. The other musicians who will be performing with these three masters will be pianist Kristjan Randalu, guitarist Eivind Aarset, bass virtuoso Chris Jennings, and one of the best percussionists in the world, Marilyn Mazur. The concert starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths.
