Vienna Chamber Orchestra in Istanbul

Consisting of a pre-eminent ensemble, a prestigious conductor, and a young violin virtuoso who is lauded by critics at every concert, a distinguished chamber orchestra from “the City of Music,” the Vienna Chamber Orchestra will perform under the baton of Stefan Vladar at the Hagia Irene Museum tonight at 8 p.m. as part of the 40th Istanbul Music Festival. The orchestra features the young star of the violin world, Alina Pogostkina, who was launched on an international career after winning the Sibelius and Queen Elisabeth competitions in 2005 and 2011 respectively.
