VIDEO: 100 vehicles crash in western Turkey

More than 100 vehicles collided at two points due to foggy weather and icy road conditions in the western province of Bursa on Feb. 21, Doğan News Agency reported.

Scores of people were injured after the accident that created havoc on the the Bursa-Mudanya highway. Frosting in the morning near the Bursa exit of the highway has caused the accident, according to witnesses.

Many cars, buses, trucks and ambulances were involved in the rare pileup accident, extending for up to two kilometers on the road, which was reopened to traffic in two hours after the damaged vehicles were removed.
