A web technician allegedly choked a female university student to death after tying her hands and feet and raping her, in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul on the evening of Oct. 13, daily Milliyet has reported.

Neighbors have claimed that the technician has been disturbing Fatmanur Ç for a while.

The incident was revealed when the girl's housemate arrived home. The suspect was caught soon after police identified him through security camera images.
