Turkey’s national women’s volleyball team secured a place at the 2012 London Olympics with a comfortable 25-22, 25-22, 25-20 victory over Poland yesterday, in the final of the European qualification tournament.
Thousands of fans cheered for the Turkish side in the game played on home soil in Ankara, paving the way for a historic victory for Turkish volleyball.
