Turkish police detain terror suspects using Facebook

Police have detained 10 suspects allegedly linked to the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) in Gaziantep after monitoring their Facebook activities, according to daily Milliyet.
Anti-terror department staff tracked the suspects by viewing the group’s shared photos, videos, and message exchanges that were intended to gather support for the movement.
Law enforcement officers detained members of the group, who were aged 19 through 22, on the grounds that they were allegedly planning to commit arson while also confiscating their computers, which allegedly contained propaganda for the organization.
The KCK is the alleged urban wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
