Turkish police detain man for ‘cleaning’ cars with urine

A man in Turkey’s Central Anatolian province of Kayseri was detained by police for “cleaning” the windshields of cars stopping at traffic lights using his bottled urine.

The 30-year-old man was spotted in the Melikgazi district late Oct. 30 while asking for money from the drivers of cars, after which he used a liquid from a bottle to wipe their windshields.

After a tip-off, the police checked security cameras and confirmed that the man had filled the bottle with his own urine.

The man and his 11-year-old brother, who was accused of helping him while carrying a 50-centimeter-long blade, were detained on Oct. 31 on charges of attempted robbery.
