Turkish Police Department to buy ‘hollow point’ bullets

The Turkish Police Department has decided to buy hollow-point bullets in an effort to neutralize attackers that use guns against police officers, daily Milliyet reported today.

The special bullets can pierce armor and neutralize people without killing them.

Police officials said they would buy at least 3 million bullets and distribute them to officers across the country, according to reports.
