Turkish Parliament prints books in 8 languages

The Turkish Parliament seeks to educate foreign visitors on its internal workings and operational systems, printing books in eight foreign languages on the matter. 

Books in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Kazakh, Russian and Spanish complement education material on the Turkish Parliament’s website, tbbm.gov.tr, which currently presents the information recently made available in print across eight languages. 

The books main themes include the electoral system; the Parliament’s formal powers and duties; parliamentary standing orders; and procedures and practices.

The book aims to enable readers to gain a better understanding of the role of the Assembly as a key institution part of the wider Turkish political outfit.
