Turkish man who killed two wives captured in Iran A Turkish man who killed two of his wives and disappeared for three years has been captured in Iran, Doğan News Agency reported on May 13.

Abdulhadi Hakan served 16 years in jail for killing his first wife before marrying another three times after his release from prison. The man allegedly killed his final wife, Ayşe Hakan, in the Marmara province of Kocaeli on July 10, 2014, before escaping.

Ayşe Hakan was reportedly the sister of one of his cellmates in prison.

Turkish officials issued a red notice for the man, who was eventually caught in Iran. Turkish officials have started a process to extradite the suspect to Turkey.
